Connections Program

Service Description

Children and adolescents who have experienced trauma long-term can develop complex trauma which impacts their development and ability to attach to a primary caretaker and others. The Connections Program is a specific 12-week research-based program that is designed to incorporate the relationship with an equine partner with Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in individual and dyad sessions with a caretaker to foster healing from trauma and learning attachment through establishing safety, regulation of emotions, and competency. Consecutive 12-week programs may be attended as needed for children and adolescents ages 3-18 years old.
